Non-Vintage Selections:

Merlot Blush
$18/750ml bottle
This wine has a brief 2 to 4 hour exposure to the dark grape skins leaving the wine a light pink and features hints of sweet strawberry. This short period of exposure to the grape skins has several effects on the wine:

The resulting wine is much paler, since the liquid has absorbed less of the pigment in the dark grape skins. It’s usually a light pink in color.

Merlot Blush has a lighter, fruitier taste than red wine. Tasters often describe the flavor of strawberries and other summer fruits.

The end result has fewer tannins, the substances that give red wine its dry taste. Many people get headaches when they drink wine with tannins, so Merlot Blush can be a good choice for those with tannin sensitivity.

White Wine Blend

A delicately balanced blend of the fruit forward Viognier grape anchored with the subtle and firm structure of Chardonnay. Aged in Stainless Steel with partial malo-lactic fermentation. Well textured with a balanced acidity and a lingering finish. This extremely versatile wine will pair well with many foods.

Ula Waina
$20/750ml bottle
A unique blend of unoaked of 70% Merlot and lightly oaked 30% Cabernet Sauvignon. It has an authentic and intense flavor that demonstrates that it does not need to be heavily aged in an oak barrel to be sophisticated.

Its ruby color and youthful, exuberant and mineral aroma offers a magnificent balance between fruit, dense structure and alcohol, and confirms its full character with extraordinary richness and volume.

It’s designed to drink young.

Red Wine Blend
$20/750ml bottle
Blended with 45% Cabernet, 45% Merlot and 10% Zinfandel this is a big, bold Rosella’s take on the traditional Bordeaux Blend. Cabernet and Merlot are found together in wines across the world, from Bordeaux to Australia, South Africa, Italy and even in Brazil. But it is only in the United States that they are joined by Zinfandel, making a structured and richly flavored red wine.

This blend tends to be dark in color and intense in flavor, with no lack of body or tannins. Cabernet Sauvignon will usually provide the structure of the wine, offering up ample tannins and flavors of blackcurrant. Its sidekick, Merlot, offers a juicier, plum vibe to the wine, softening the edges and contributing spice and cherry.

Zinfandel is rich in raspberry, blackberry, pepper and it brings these characteristics to the blend in spades. Zinfandel lends itself well to making a ripe, full-bodied style of wine that has come to be known as a signature for Rosella’s.

Manu Aloha
$22/bottle 750ml
Blended with 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot and 10% Malbec, this is hearty fare, a deeply concentrated wine rich in dark plum, black currant and coffee. With generous tannins in support, it takes on complex seasonings of tobacco and cedar, working well against the dense fruit.

Merlot

This is a juicy, spicy and softer wine, balanced in ripeness and approach, which delivers high-toned, complex flavors of black cherry and plum. Seductively silky, it offers structure and brightness within moderation.

Cabernet Sauvignon

This inky dry farmed Estate grown Cabernet Sauvignon is juicy with hints of black cherry and wild berry that yield to rich vanilla and oak, with ample grip and tension that lend structure. It’s simply delicious, voluptuous and lush yet complex

Zinfandel
$30/bottle 750ml
A rare varietal in the Applegate, our Zinfandel requires all but the first cluster to be removed to allow for high standards in ripening. It showcases this special treatment with big, bold and bright fruit flavors. It fills up this full-bodied and well-balanced wine, giving it great freshness and appeal. Black and inky it gives way to Blackberry and black-cherry notes and meld with mild oak, cedar and black pepper spices.

Wai Kula

100% Merlot Blush takes on a rich caramel color with an intensity and nutty richness on the nose, backed up by a full, balanced palate. Flavors of caramel, toffee and toasted peanuts with the distinct flavor and a lasting streak of caramel.

Nui Awa
$30/bottle 325ml
This Ruby Style Port has intense blackberry fruit on the nose and rich spices on the palate, it’s both rich, fruity and oh-so-smooth. Working equally well with chocolaty desserts and the cheeseboard, it’s the ideal way to round out a cozy evening.

Keg Program
A new way of thinking. Not really! We’ve been doing it for many years and it makes sense.

• It’s GREEN, considering you don’t have any capsules/corks/labels and labor getting the wine into bottles.
• There’s no waste! Kegs are reusable.
• When a keg is delivered, it’s the equivalent of 2 cases. So we save time and gas.
• Those savings are passed onto the purchaser and thus onto the consumer
